New Old; Old New

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “New.”

When things have to change, they change. They don’t wait for a calendar milestone. Most of our definitions of new are artificial; milestone based. New is not a slave of a date. Old is the master of date. Each new day that we look forward to, is because of a Sun that is 4.57 billion years old. And we amuse ourselves.

Here’s an image of that very old Sun taken from a new monument; built just 359 years ago.
