I have yet to develop the photographs for this Konkan trip.

In the meanwhile, you can see some of the photographs that I took in Shivtharghal. Shivtharghal is a valley in the Sahyadri range. “Ghal” in Marathi means valley. This is the place where Ramdas Swami dictated the Dasbodh and Kalyan Swami Wrote it down. Kalyan Swami took Samadhi (Nirvana) here.

There isnt a place to stay, unless you are here for a religious reason – in any case the stay there is pretty basic. But it’s worth a visit.

Shivtharghal is 13km from Mahad (on the Mumbai Goa Highway). There are those ‘Vikram’ rickshaws that take you there. Fun Stuff.
