Notes From Baltimore
2008 July 25
A sharp city.
And a photographer’s delight. But I didn’t have my camera with me. What my phone camera captured, was not good enough, for me. The city is a landscape of sharp vertical and horizontal and vertical lines. Well, the “Inner Harbor” at least. Even the skywalk is angular. Straight sharp lines. The curves are conspicuous by their absence. I do believe I saw one curve, but that’s about it.
I will remember Baltimore for more than the buildings and the cityscape, however.
Meeting friends after a few years, snatching those couple of hours before a flight. All in all a wonderful three days!
